As of 1 June 2026, Ms Isabella Pichler-Olearczyk joins Mr Daniele Gamba in leading TAG GmbH succeeding Brigitte Straka-Lang, who retired at the end of May 2026 after 4 years of dedicated service to the company.

As part of Daughter’s Day 2026, TAG GmbH opened the doors of its compressor station in Eggendorf, Lower Austria, offering young, curious girls exciting insights into the world of energy.

At the heart of the event was the question of how the energy supply of tomorrow will be shaped – and the role that technology, innovation, and commitment play in it. The participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand the diverse responsibilities of a transmission system operator and to gain initial insights into potential career paths in the energy sector.

Another milestone was reached for the SoutH2 Corridor on October 23rd, 2025, in Vienna. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism brought together key stakeholders from Austria, Germany, Italy, the European Commission, regulatory authorities, and all four transmission system operators for the 6th Trilateral Working Group Meeting, which provided an excellent platform to exchange insights on the project’s progress and to define the next concrete steps toward establishing this vital European hydrogen corridor.

Our wildflower meadow in Eggendorf is taking shape: In collaboration with the regional nature conservation association Landschaftspflegeverein Thermenlinie–Wienerwald–Wiener Becken, we have launched the project “Biodiversity at TAG”. The initiative, initially focused on Lower Austria and later expanding to Styria and Carinthia, aims to support native habitats and promote biodiversity at our sites.

Electricity Tender for Supply Period 2026/27/28 (+ Option 2029 + Option 2030): TAG GmbH will tender its electricity supply, as well as the take-off of its own heat recovery generation for Assets located in Austria. The contract is expected to be awarded at the end of October 2025.

Pioneering the Hydrogen Transition – TAG GmbH as a First Mover in Hydrogen Infrastructure. On June 2, 2025, TAG GmbH was proud to be recognized as a first mover in hydrogen infrastructure at the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Grant Agreement Ceremony, held during the Energy Infrastructure Forum in Copenhagen. Our feasibility study – “H₂ Readiness of the TAG pipeline system – Conceptual Engineering & FEED preparation” – was awarded a CEF Energy Grant, confirming the strategic importance of their efforts toward decarbonizing the European energy system.

On the occasion of TöchterTAG 2025 (Daughters’ Day), TAG GmbH proudly opened the doors of its Vienna headquarters to curious and ambitious girls aged 12 to 14, offering them hands-on insights into the many exciting facets of the energy world.

We are pleased to inform that on April 14, 2025, the Hydrogen Interconnections in Central Eastern and South Eastern Europe (HI EAST) group meeting convened at the Albert Borschette Conference Center in Brussels to present and discuss candidate projects for the EU’s second Union list of Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs).
