Trans Austria Gasleitung GmbH supports the Corona Relief Fund of Diakonie Austria

The current corona crisis is hitting socially disadvantaged people and those at risk of poverty particularly hard. Families on low incomes are often facing particular financial hardship due to short-time working or loss of employment. Help is therefore urgently needed to cover the basic needs of daily life and to provide the often necessary resources, such as laptops for children’s distance learning.

As a utility company, Trans Austria Gasleitung is very keen to help in this difficult crisis. We are therefore pleased to announce that TAG GmbH is financially supporting the Corona Relief Fund of Diakonie Austria.

The Corona Relief Fund is currently being set up to support families affected by poverty in particular with family packages and to provide homeless people with hot meals.

The financial resources provided by Trans Austria Gasleitung will support 100 families affected by poverty. Our donation includes healthy food, diapers for small children and emergency aid for hardship cases. It will also finance 3,500 hot meals, the food supply for homeless people for a week.
